Benfica defeated Estoril with an amazing 6-0 score! Andreas was in the starting XI for the team. The game was played on the 28th February, 2015.

Benfica defeated Vitoria Futebol Clube on the 16th February, 2015. Samaris was included in the starting XI, and was later replaced by substitute and friend, Ruben Amorim. Andreas Samaris is featured on the latest Benfica magazine front cover! He says "We are family" and it goes through the interview on Alta Fidelidade!
Andreas explains that "In Greece it is unusual that there are so many journalists waiting to get a footballer. Or, maybe, it's that I had not realized the extent of my transfer. At first, I was surprised but then I got used to it". When being asked about what makes Benfica players different, he answered "The Benfica strength comes from that. We are a family and we are all friends. The youngest can play with the older and vice versa. This is something very important."

Andreas Samaris was on Benfica's program "Alta Fidelidade" where he was interviewed about his personal life. He said that he does not have a girlfriend. He calls his mum twice a day, and he loves her cooking. The last time he cried was 2 years ago when his grandmother died. He was let down by people when he was around 12 years old. He can speak some Portuguese without having done any lessons! He also said that as a child he didn't cry often, but when he was 4 years old he started trouble. Once in high school he felt that he calmed down a lot.

The huge derby, Benfica against Sporting Lisbon took place on the 8th February! Samaris was in the starting XI and played until extra time where he was replaced. He received a yellow card in the 83rd minute of the game. Many people have said that he played very well and held the team together! The match resulted in a draw - 1-1!
